Every year on the first weekend of October, nearly 100,000 people visit the little town of Seymour, Indiana, for our annual Oktoberfest event. The event draws people from all over Southern and central Indiana. The Seymour Oktoberfest in Seymour is a time of homecoming, as all the students who are away at college travel home for the event. People who have moved from the area will come home for the event. This event has become such an icon and tradition that weddings, birthdays, and family vacations are often planned around it.
